In order to kick off the launch of Bonnie Rose, we threw a party with her best friends from all around Nashville. Bonnie Rose Presents the Whiskey Room was a place where good friends gathered in an intimate setting (The Bell Tower) for live music, Southern bites, a good laugh, and great whiskey cocktails. This was the perfect setting to reveal Bonnie and tie into the authentic Nashville scene.
The Bonnie Rose Belles welcomed guests with true Southern hospitality.
Of course, in Nashville the music always comes first! Bonnie’s badass talent lineup was perfect for the evening.
DJ Hish – DJ
DJ Hish’s unique “anything goes” mixing style led him to be a featured DJ in Nashville Lifestyles magazine as one of their ‘Artists and Industry Players To Watch in 2014. Fans hear everything from Johnny Cash to Jay-Z, sounding as if they belonged together in the first place.
Misty Loggins – 1st Opener
From the legendary Ryman Auditorium to The Bluebird Café, audiences have fallen in love with Misty Loggins. This Georgia farm girl continues to entertain sold-out crowds with her award-winning musicianship and dynamic personality.
Ashley McBryde – 2nd Opener/Emcee
Described as raw talent with a whiskey-washed sense of humor, onstage Ashley is the nicest bad girl you’ve ever met.
Whiskey Rose – 3rd Opener
Nashville singer/songwriters Skye Claire and Kristen Kuiper joined forces as Whiskey Rose. With Skye’s rock and roll edge and Kristen’s twangy county charm, Whiskey Rose has a sound that’s all their own.
Nikki Lane – Headliner
“The First Lady of Outlaw Country” turns the vulnerable singer-songwriter stereotype on its ear, crafting songs that crucify ex-boyfriends and have no problem with one-night stands as long as she can bolt town right after.
Misty Loggins, Ashley McBryde, and Whiskey Rose will all continue to represent the brand. For the next six months they will offer Bonnie Rose cocktails to fans and spread the word on their social media channels. These promotions will take place at their performances which tour in the South and anchor heavily in Nashville. If you find yourself in the Music City, keep your eyes out for one of these artists and try a Bonnie Rose cocktail.
In addition to the music there were a variety of activations to engage guests in true Nashville style:
Salon – Scout’s Barbershop
Scout’s, located in East Nashville and owned by veteran stylist Brooke Asbury, provided guests with the option of a straight razor shave, beard trim, neck trim, line-up, and bang trim. Scout’s will provide Bonnie Rose to consumers at hosted events for the next few months.
Boutique – Pony Show
Consumers shopped at East Nashville’s Pony Show, a vintage boutique owned by Pippin Chapman, featuring locally-made jewelry, art, and other gifts. Pony Show will also provide Bonnie Rose to consumers at hosted events for the next few months.
Kustom Motorcycle – Junkyard Jules
Bonnie Rose showed off her badass personality with a kustom designed bike which will be displayed at key retail accounts for the next few months. It was pinstriped by Julie Fournier, a.k.a. “Junkyard Jules,” an artist, freelance designer, and pinstriper. Julie also pinstriped Bonnie Rose bottles at the launch event.
Guests were given the opportunity to pose in front of a saddled whiskey barrel photo op, download their photos, and share immediately via social media using #LifeLibertyAndLiquor.
Guests were treated to three unique bar experiences surrounding the performances, at the Whiskey Barrel Bar, the Whiskey Tasting Room, and the Vintage Trailer Bar. All featured cocktails with a unique spin on the Bonnie Rose experience: Bonnie Rose Cooler, Bonnie Rose Drop, Bonnie Rose Orange Palmer, and the Bonnie Rose Tennessee Mule.
There’s nothing that says Southern hospitality like good food, so of course there was plenty on hand: balsamic watermelon bites, fried roasted corn stuffing, hot chicken bites in waffle cones, candied bacon, fried mac and cheese, pulled pork biscuit sliders, and – our favorite – assorted mini tacos (brisket, chicken, fish).
Attendees were given a number of Bonnie Rose branded t-shirts as well as Life Liberty and Liquor flash tattoos.
Bonnie Rose made a splash in Music City, with old friends and new.
